What’s my Age Again?

Everybody talks about mid life crisis. New car, new job, if you’re unlucky maybe new spouse, but it seems that the equally distressing quarter life crisis all too often, goes unrecognized. Just out of school, with a job you may or may not like, in a field you may or may not have worked tirelessly to get a degree in. You’re too old to stay out until 3 am five nights a week, but too young to have a family. You’re too broke to own a house, but too old to be living in your parents basement. What a strange place to be. Getting health insurance, setting up a 401 k, learning how to invest in the stock market– these are all new things you are just expected to know. It’s like there’s a stamp on your diploma that says I now know all life skills. Talking to people old and young in an industry designed around health and wellness, I’ve become very aware of the importance of “taking advantage of young adult life”. My goal is to provide an entertaining insight into the issues that we all face in our quarter life that makes it feel like crisis. Goodbye quarter life crisis, hello quarter life calm.
